Authorized Users: Login and Payment Guide 

This guide explains how students can grant access to authorized users (such as parents or sponsors) and how those users can securely view and pay student bills.

I. Adding an Authorized User (Student Responsibility)

To allow someone else to access billing information, the student must complete the setup process:

Steps:

  1. Log in to Raiderlink
  2. Navigate to the MyTech tab
  3. Click the Student Business Services drop-down
  4. Navigate to the eBill system
  5. Select the option to add an authorized user
  6. Enter the following details:
    • Full name of the authorized user
    • Valid email address

What Happens Next:

  • The authorized user will receive an email notification
  • The email includes:
    • A temporary password
    • Instructions to create a secure login

II. Authorized User Login Process

Authorized users must follow a separate login process from students.

Important Notes:

  • Authorized users cannot log in through Raiderlink
  • They must use the Authorized User login page only

Login Requirements:

  • Email address (used during setup)
  • Password (created after receiving the initial email)

III. Access and Permissions

Authorized users are granted limited, specific access to the student’s financial account.

They Can:

  • View the current account balance
  • Review billing statements
  • Make payments toward the account

They Cannot:

  • Access Raiderlink
  • View academic records or personal student information
  • Make changes to the student’s account settings

IV. Account Security and Restrictions

Access is intentionally restricted to protect student privacy and comply with university policies.

  • Each authorized user has a separate login credential
  • Permissions are limited strictly to billing and payment functions
  • Students maintain full control and can add or remove users at any time

V. Password and Login Assistance

If an authorized user experiences login issues:

Recommended Actions:

  • Use the “Forgot Password” option on the Authorized User login page
  • Follow the instructions sent to their registered email

Do Not:

  • Attempt to log in through Raiderlink
  • Use the student’s login credentials

VI. Summary

  • Students must initiate and manage authorized user access
  • Authorized users receive independent login credentials
  • Access is limited to viewing and paying bills only
  • All activity must occur through the Authorized User portal, not Raiderlink
