TUITION INSURANCE
We believe it's important to offer an easy, affordable way to protect the investment your family has made in higher education. Texas Tech University has negotiated with GradGuard™ to provide our families with tuition insurance featuring special plans and rates not available to the public.
Tuition insurance helps students and their families overcome the financial losses that may result from events which force students to withdraw from the semester due to a covered medical reason.
This tuition insurance coverage* can reimburse up to 100% of your school expenses/payments after an unexpected withdrawal (at any time during the semester) for a covered illness, injury, mental health disorder and more.
Plans also include Student Life Assistance: a 24-hour emergency hotline that offers students and parents even greater peace of mind.
The deadline to enroll for the Spring 2026 term is:
- TTU – Friday, January 30, 2026
- TTU Online + Full Spring - Friday, January 30, 2026
- TTU Online + Early Spring - Thursday, January 15, 2026
- TTU Online + Late Spring - Monday, March 23, 2026
- LAW – Wednesday, January 28, 2026
- DVM - Wednesday, January 21, 2026
